SB Patil Institute for Dental Science and Research has a rich culture of recognizing meritorious students and awarding them with pure gold medals. There are two medals that are awarded
- Over all topper – Given by the faculties of thew college to the student whose overall score throughout the BDS course is the highest in the batch.
- Shreya Gold medal – Given in the memory of Ms Shreya Patil daughter of Dr Suryakanth Patil, our dear Chairman. It is given to the student who is an all rounder, good in studies and also in extracurricular activities.
- Madaki Gold medal – Given in the memory of Dr Madaki who is one our teachers and founder of this insitute and it is awarded to the Anatomy subject topper in the first year.
